The first time I quit smoking I was in kindergarten.
Stealing cigarettes from my mom to impress a girlfriend got my ass beat with magazines until they shredded. Then my dad switched to coat hangers. The experience left welts but not enough of an impression to cure my need to cope with overwhelming anxiety living in a dysfunctional family.
I learned to be a people-pleaser at a young age. In the 9th grade, I desperately wanted to fit in with the cool kids. I got caught smoking pot in HS resulting in my parents sending me to a girls boarding school.
They also grounded me for 6 months making it really tuff to meet new friends. My classmates had last names like Rockefellers and Roosevelts or other household words … I felt out of my league, but not as much as the scholarship kids.
At my swanky new school there weren’t the regular grades A – F … to my horror there were written report cards detailing for my parents exactly where I was excelling and where I needed improvement. Alas, more ammunition for mom to punish me.
Luckily, life at Earth School isn’t something you can fail, even though you frequently feel like you’re failing miserably. It’s more like you want or need more experience in a particular area to graduate to the next level.
“Unless you are a highly evolved, enlightened being, Karma affects your life in every way; in fact, your life is the constant unfolding of Karma!” Deepak Chopra
Karma means action. The energy created by an action has to be returned: “As yea sow so shall yea reap.” It cannot be avoided.
Again, life isn’t about failing or passing; it’s about growth.
Here’s how your past life experiences in your pre-birth soul are evaluated:
Yesterday, I told you how each letter in your name represents a past life class you’ve already taken.
Letters that all reduce down to the same number, like …
… all reduce down to a #1 and have a similar field of study: Self-reliance.
What letter grouping above are you missing in your birth certificate name?
FYI: missing 6s (the work behind love), 7s (trusting self and spirit), and 8’s (get recognized for your worth) is pretty common. So don’t fret too much.
You’ll get the full scoop when you take Your Soul’s Report Card workshop with me each Fall!
Two things stand out on my Soul’s Report Card grades are:
As for me, the following letters in my name are missing: F, O, or X. Thus I got an Incomplete in #6. An Incomplete in Love and responsibility makes sense, since my mother and grandfather died when i was young and I never met my birth father in my past life. Surprise-surprise: #6 also involves learning to love my body.
Freaky how the #1 Self-Reliant is repeated in my month of birth, challenge, and soul’s greatest regret.
Through Numerology, I know I have a responsibility to educate and entertain so you believe in yourself and fulfill your soul’s dreams.
