Ready to dive into the mysteries of life some more? Let’s roll those digital dice and unravel some destinies!
To help you get unstuck, you have to figure out what your soul is here to heal from your past life. Your name and birthday contain all sorts of clues to solve the mystery. Hence why I call myself Destiny Detective.
Each letter has a value in your name … A = 1, B = 2, C = 3, etc.
And your last name unlocks what your (sometimes craZy) family came together to learn and why you your soul chose your parents!
Now these letter values and their location in your name can be used in a multitude of ways to discover:
My mom and I couldn’t be more different: she played by the rules, with her even-numbered energy of 22/4, 2, and 8. Meanwhile, I’m an emotional whirlwind with the free-spirited numbers 3, 5, and 1, constantly coloring way outside the lines.
Mom has zero of the emotional experience letters (3, 6, 9) in her birth name, and the rest of my family are missing most of this experience too. Growing up, it felt like living with a computerized Stepford family, more focused on appearances than feelings.
As an empath, I must’ve seemed like an emotional hot-crying-mess in contrast. I can’t tell you the number of times I heard that’s in your imagination, that’s not real. Thus, reality was a blur. With no one to guide me, I never felt truly seen or heard.
Interestingly, when you add up the letters in my last name, they equal 8. The same goes for the letters in my mother’s maiden name—they also add up to an 8.
Eights need to be recognized for the superstars they truly are. Once they own their power, success and money often follow. While everyone in my family has the same agenda, we have very different paths to get there.
My family is full of entrepreneurs, which is a classic #8 way to thrive. Many of them aren’t in traditional jobs—my namesake’s husband invented fluorescent paint during WWII, which later became the neon craze of the 1960s. It’s a whole lineage of go-getters with technicolor dreams!
No wonder I’m drawn to bright colors!

Am I using my birth last name or my current name? Current = 20 = 2 Birth = 10 = 1
Great question Eileen!
– Your BIRTH name tells you about the family you were born into.
– An ADOPTED name tells you about your adoptive family.
– A MARRIED name tells you about the family you married into.
– Your mom’s MAIDEN name is inherited energy from her side of the family that you’re learning to work with.
– A LEGALLY CHANGED name would be energy your soul wants to work on and the type of people your soul wants to attract.
In other words, all last names count but tell you about different groups of people/souls.
